Emulsifiers for improved chemical gassing

The major problems associated with emulsion sensitisation by chemical gassing are gassing speed and decreased emulsion stability. Croda recognises that the choice of emulsifier can impact these parameters and has recommended Anfomul products for improved chemical gassing velocity and stability. 

Emulsifiers for low quality ammonium nitrate explosives

Emulsion stability is an important and common issue within the emulsion explosives industry with decreased stability often the result of sourcing cheaper alternative materials such as ammonium nitrate and recycled oil. To help our customers decrease their material costs our emulsifier range offer benefits including increased long term stability, excellent water resistance and reliability.

Emulsifiers for recycled oil emulsion explosives

The use of recycled oil (used/recovered oil often from mining trucks) in an emulsion formulation can cause emulsion destabilisation and increased viscosity, which both lead to handling problems. Croda has a range of Anfomul™ emulsifiers which can help avoid the complications and give more robust and reliable recycled oil emulsions.
